This Privacy Policy explains how Keizerworks LLP ("Student Intelligence," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use the Student Intelligence mobile application, our website at https://studentintelligence.ai, and related services (together, the "Services"). Keizerworks LLP is the data fiduciary responsible for your personal data.
Student Intelligence is built for students in India and operates under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We process your personal data with your consent and as needed to provide the Services you request. If you use the Services from outside India, your data is processed in India and in the locations described in Annex I.
This policy is not a contract and does not create rights beyond those given by applicable law.

1. What Is Personal Data
"Personal data" means information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked to you. It does not include aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer be linked to you.
2. How We Collect and Use Personal Data
Data you provide
- Account: your phone number or email address, used to create and secure your account and to sign you in.
- Profile: your name, class or grade, board (CBSE, ICSE, or State), school name (optional), target exam (optional), and profile photo (optional), used to personalize the Services.
Data created as you use the Services
- Conversations: your questions to the AI tutor and the replies you receive, used to provide tutoring and keep your history.
- Learning activity: quiz answers, flashcards, spaced-repetition, and Deep Fix sessions, used to track progress and plan review.
- Notes: content you write or save.
- Learning profile: a personalized analysis of your strengths, weaknesses, and progress, linked to your account and used to tailor the Services to you.
- Attached images: photos or scans you attach to a conversation, uploaded and stored with that conversation.
- Voice input: when you use voice, your audio is sent to a speech-to-text provider for transcription. We do not keep the audio recording; we keep the transcript as part of your conversation, and we record voice usage time to apply plan limits.
Data we collect automatically
- Device and diagnostics: when the app crashes or errors, we collect device and app information to diagnose and fix problems.
- Push token: if you enable notifications, we store a device token to send them.
We use this data only to run, secure, and improve the Services. We do not use cookies or trackers for advertising, do not build advertising profiles, and do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not use your personal data to train AI models. Our AI providers process your content only to generate responses and, under their terms, do not train their models on it.
3. How We Share Personal Data
We share data only with the service providers that operate the Services, listed in Annex I. Each may use your data only to provide its service to us.
With your consent, given at signup, we may use de-identified, aggregated learning data to improve the Services and for educational research. This data cannot identify you, and you may withdraw this consent by contacting us.
We may disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
4. Third-Party AI Service Providers
To provide AI-powered tutoring, voice features, homework analysis, and personalized learning experiences, Student Intelligence may share certain user content with trusted third-party AI service providers that process data solely on our behalf and in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

These providers process data only for the purpose of delivering the services requested by the user and as instructed by Student Intelligence. We do not permit these providers to sell user data or use it for advertising purposes.
5. Data Retention
We keep your personal data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, except where the law requires us to keep certain records. De-identified data that cannot be linked to you may be retained.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Access and export: email us to request a copy of your data.
- Correct: update your profile in the app.
- Delete: delete your account in Settings → Advanced → Delete Account, or email us.
- Withdraw consent: withdraw consent to optional processing, such as research use, by contacting us.
- Manage notifications: turn off push notifications in your device settings.
- Nominate: nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to act.
- Grievance: raise any request or complaint about your data with our grievance contact (see Contact Us).
7. Children's Privacy and Parental Consent
Student Intelligence is for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13, and we delete it if we find we have.
Many of our users are under 18. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review this policy and your use of the Services, and may contact us to access or delete your data. We do not show advertising to any user, and we do not track or profile children for advertising or behavioral monitoring.
8. Data Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), encryption at rest, access controls that scope data to your account, and standard authentication. No system is perfectly secure; if you find an issue, please contact us. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
9. International Data Transfers
We operate from India, and your account and learning data are stored in India. Some service providers (Annex I) process data in other countries, including the United States. By using the Services, you consent to these transfers, which we make with appropriate safeguards.
10. Links to Third-Party Services
The Services may link to sites or services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing data.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. When changes are significant, we will update the date above, notify you in the app or by email, and seek consent again where the law requires. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
